Sullivans Mining & Industrial (SMI) is a proudly Australian-owned business with deep roots in the mining and industrial sectors. Over the past 30 years, SMI has evolved from a small hydraulic hose supplier in Cobar into one of Australia's most trusted sources for industrial and safety supplies. Today, SMI supports businesses of all sizes across diverse industries, offering an extensive range of products from renowned global brands.

Founded on strong principles, SMI has cultivated a team united by a common mission: to be the go-to supplier for Australia’s industrial and mining sectors.
In the late 1980s and early 90s, mining companies in Cobar and nearby areas were underserved by businesses in Sydney and Dubbo, leading to unmet service needs. Recognizing the gap, Allan Sullivan founded Sullivans Mining & Hardware in 1991 in Cobar, NSW. He introduced high-demand products and provided the reliable, timely service that larger city companies couldn't match.
Upon his retirement, Allan ensured his passion, values, and systems were passed on to his son Duane, who had worked alongside him from the ground up. Now leading the company, Duane continues his father's legacy, driving the business forward.
Rebranded as Sullivans Mining & Industrial, the company now has branches in Cobar, Parkes, Orange, Dubbo, and Rutherford, with more on the way. Today, Sullivans Mining & Industrial stands as one of Australia's leading industrial suppliers.
